<\/p>\nAn OAP golfer was overcome with joy after he hit a hole-in-one at the age of 91 years young.<\/p>\n
Willie Clinton is nine years short of 100, but he proved he can still wallop a ball more than 100 yards on the golf course. Considering his lofty age, the fact he is still able to have a round while pushing his own golf trolley is impressive in itself.<\/p>\n
However, the senior citizen proved class is permanent when he became one of the oldest players to ever hit a hole-in-one. After a video of the delighted pensioner celebrating his miraculous shot was uploaded onto the social media, sports fans came out in their numbers to serenade him with praise.<\/p>\n

One heavily inspired golfer conveyed his sheer admiration for Clinton when they wrote: "Something we can all aspire to." An almost emotional sounding fan also said: "What a sport man, I\u2019ll be buzzing if I\u2019m still walking the course at 91."<\/p>\n

He marked the occasion by picking the ball out of the hole and lifting it into the air like a trophy. <\/p>\n However, if he has ambitions of becoming the oldest ever player to hit a hole-in-one, he will need to wait another 12 years. The Guinness World Record for the oldest player to record that feat belongs to PGA professional Gus Andreone. <\/p>\n He was 103 years old when he found the hole at the first time of asking from 113-yards at Palm Aire Country Club in Sarasota, Fla, in 2014.
